Out of Control Behavior is Back!!!

Does anyone have any type of suggestions to this type of situation? I teach in a self-contained classroom and have been since the end of September. When I went into the classroom all of the students were out of control, primarily because they had not had any normalcy since the beginning of the school year. Going into the class was not too bad for me because I knew most of the children and this helped me to quickly get them under control. There was one student who regardless of the fact would not gain control. The student had a mentor and all of the accommodations we could have to assist with the behaviors. The mentor was great with right-there assistance but most of the time still rewarded the student even when the behavior did not warrant a reward, so this did not help either. This behavior issue was the only one thing blocking my class from being able to model control. The student then left and my class went into a classroom that was able to model control. Just before break we found out the student was coming back and already some other students in the classroom has started to display a difference in attitude and behavior. I did not inform them of this but they found out by seeing the student back in their neighborhood. The students prior to this have been wonderful. We have been able to complete all of their assignments and even a big class project, which for me brought tears to my eyes because everyone kept telling me they could not do it and they proved they could with someone that thought positively of them. We have gotten so much accomplished that our wall of work is so full that if someone came on our hall not knowing the make-up of any of the classrooms they would think all of the classes are regular education classrooms. I am now starting to feel helpless and like I am going to lose all of the control and efforts that I have been receiving once this change goes into full effect. How do I keep my students maintain as they have been? How do I get the students that are already changing back to bad behaviors to maintain the good behaviors? How do I maintain all of the hard work I have put in to have the class to display control keep displaying the control and tune the misbehaviors out? Someone PLEASE help me!!!! Any and all suggestions are welcomed. I Thank You ahead of time!
